Arctic landscape

The Svalbard Rock Ptarmigan sitting in the shade is only a small part of this image. The lines, light and shades in the background is as important as the bird in the foreground. This is a typical view in this Arctic landscapes, it’s only a question using it in the composition of the image.

This was a very cold morning but I had to get down low to capture the landscape in the background in my image. Ptarmigans in Svalbard are usually very easy to get close to; they do not fear humans yet because of less hunting during times.
